Who We Are

We exist to make knowledge accessible to every Indian.

Vidur Foundation India is a non-profit committed to creating meaningful and lasting change in both rural and urban communities — through Education, Health, Agriculture, Financial Literacy, and Technology.

Our Mission

Think bright, live bright.

Vidur Foundation India, initiated by Pankaj Prajapati in 2025 and backed by Vidur Enterprises, is a non-profit committed to creating meaningful and lasting change in both rural and urban communities.

We work across five key pillars — Education, Health, Agriculture, Financial Literacy, and Technology — empowering individuals and families with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to build better lives.

We believe that when people are educated, healthy, skilled, financially aware, and tech-literate, entire communities flourish, and the nation prospers. Through our initiatives, we aim to turn this belief into action, one life at a time.

Our Vision

"An India where no one suffers from lack of knowledge."

We measure success not in page views, but in lives changed — a farmer who discovered PM-KISAN, a student who found the scholarship that kept her in school, a family that understood their health rights.

Our Journey

From conviction to action.

Vidur Foundation is new — and intentionally so. We would rather build slowly and publish content that is deeply researched than move fast and produce noise. Every article we release is a commitment to quality.

2025 — Founded

Foundation established

Pankaj Prajapati initiates Vidur Foundation India in Lucknow, backed by Vidur Enterprises. The mandate: publish the best possible knowledge on the issues that matter most to Indian communities.

2025 — First content

Deep-dive articles go live

The Education pillar launches with in-depth research on the school dropout crisis in India — a topic few cover with the depth it deserves.

2025 — Framework

Five pillars defined

The five-pillar framework is formalised: Education, Health, Agriculture, Financial Literacy, and Technology. Each pillar has its own editorial focus and content roadmap.

Ongoing

Growing, one article at a time

We continue to expand coverage across all five pillars — slowly, carefully, and always with the reader's real-world needs at the centre.

What Guides Us

The rules behind every article

These aren't aspirational statements. They are the constraints we operate within when writing.

Depth over breadth

We never publish a topic we can't cover thoroughly. One excellent, complete article is worth more than ten shallow ones. We go deep so you don't have to search elsewhere.

Accuracy above all

Every statistic is cited. Every claim is verified. We update articles when information changes. We would rather publish less and be right than publish more and mislead.

Practical usefulness

Our articles answer real questions people face in their daily lives. We write for the person who needs this information today, not for the expert who already knows it.

Free, always

All our content is free, forever. No paywalls. No registration. No tracking. Knowledge is a right, not a product. This is non-negotiable.

The Founder

Built from lived experience

Pankaj Prajapati

Founder & Director

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India

"I started this foundation with one belief: that the right information, at the right time, changes everything."

Pankaj Prajapati initiated Vidur Foundation India in 2025 with a simple conviction: that access to accurate, practical knowledge is the most powerful resource anyone can have. Growing up in Uttar Pradesh, he witnessed how a lack of information — about government schemes, health rights, farming techniques, and financial basics — quietly kept families from opportunities already within their reach.

Backed by Vidur Enterprises, the foundation works across five pillars — Education, Health, Agriculture, Financial Literacy, and Technology — not as separate projects, but as one interconnected effort to empower communities. The goal is not visibility. It is impact, one life at a time.

Why "Vidur"?

Named for the wisest minister.

In the Mahabharata, Vidur was the minister of Hastinapura — known for his extraordinary wisdom, his unflinching commitment to truth, and his willingness to speak knowledge to power regardless of consequence. He embodied the principle that wisdom must be shared with those who need it most.

We named this foundation after him because that is exactly what we aspire to: wisdom that serves the people, not the powerful.

Have a question or want to collaborate?

We're always open to conversations about knowledge, community, and impact.
